First United Methodist Church in Ada, Oklahoma is a beautiful location for a wedding and Bridal Portraits. Loren was doing a destination wedding and since she would be on the beach saying I DO, she wanted to do her bridal portraits in the church she attended. I had recently shot Loren and Brad’s engagement session, found here, so I knew she would be amazing in front of the camera! She was stunning!! The beautiful architecture added to the bridal portraits! The church was absolutely breathtaking. It’s interior was filled with stained glass windows, rich wood, and gothic style arches. I have a degree in Interior Design from the College of Architecture (click here to read more about how I got into photography). Anyways, I love architectural photography and combining a beautiful bride with a stunning interior is right up my alley!! I could place Loren in the middle of nowhere and she would make the surroundings look beautiful! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the bridal session.
Those stained glass windows are to die for!! So beautiful!! I LOVE how it makes Loren’s white dress pop!
One of my all time favorite pictures. Loren’s mother, Loren, and her grandmother. All with their wedding bands on.
Loren and her mother made her head-piece! It really added to her beach wedding, although I think it looks really beautiful in this setting as well!!
The double doors leading into the church were perfect! I love that you can see all the way down the aisle as Loren stands there.
Such a beautiful interior! I love the scale of this church!!
Loren, You make these pictures!! I had so much fun coming back from the wedding and shooting these!! It made me re-live the wedding all over again! You guys be on the lookout! Loren and Brad’s wedding will be making it’s debut shortly! I can’t wait to show you the beautiful beach wedding these two had!!
